Kaylee's Birthday
My sister-in-law and a friend of hers threw an adorable 3rd birthday party for Kaylee and her friend Jenna. There was no detail left unfinished. They rented a cottage at Lake Lily that was adorable. The cottage had a kitchen, bathroom and was air conditioned, a must. Then there is a playground right next to it, ducks to feed on the lake and a train that runs right behind. What better a place is there for a bunch of little ones. The ship wheel was at the top of the stairs when you first walked up. There was a "fishing pond" to the right and bean bag toss to your left. Nautical/pirate decorations were everywhere, even on the straws. They had sashes, bandanas, eye patches and foam swords for all the kids to dress up when they got there. Right after everyone got there we did a treasure hunt. They had beaded necklaces, rings and "gold" coins scattered all over the lawn. Too cute, thank you Ashlee and Kaylee for having a great party.

Bogards come to Florida
Jeremy and Ashley came for a visit to Florida. The kids got along great. We had a wonderful time as we always do. We always miss them when they leave. Guess it's our turn to head to Utah next. While they were here we went to SeaWorld, checked out the pumpkin patch at Grandma and Granddad's church and then did our annual meal at Boondocks. You can see in the picture what a year does. The next day we took the kids to the beach so Elli could stick her toes in the water. Cooper wasn't into the beach that day but I got a really cute picture of him. Croix and Elli got along great though. You can see their first meeting in Utah is where the romance all began and then continued on the beach in Florida.

ANOTHER DAY AT THE BEACH
The water is still a little cold which would be fine with us but the boys arent' so crazy about it. It was a beautiful day. Once my dad knew we were at the beach he called to let us know that there were the replicas of the Nina and the Pinta at a near by dock. We had Zoe-girl with us so we couldn't actually go on the boats. It was very interesting to see how small they were. I don't think I would want to cross the Atlantic in them!

A DAY AT THE BEACH
Cooper and Croix’s first “real” time at the beach. Emme and her friend competed in the sand castle tournament for the “Opening of Beaches” in Jacksonville. It was a beautiful day. At first the boys were not amused. The water was still a little cold but they warmed up to it pretty quick. Cooper behaved and just splashed in the water. Croix on the other hand enjoyed quite a lunch of wet sand. You would think after the first mouth full he would realize it wasn’t any good. Nope, not our boy!

The picture of Croix is at Angelina's, our favorite pizza place. We had dinner with Grandma and Granddad and then looked at the old cars that meet up in the parking lot. On Saturday the boys and I went to the car show at the track with Granddad. We got to see lots of Ramblers/Nashs as you can see. The boys also got to play in a Cobra, daddys dream car. What fun!

How are our boys already 1? They were just born yesterday!
On Cooper and Croix's actual birthday we took them to the zoo. It was a beautiful day to be out. Perfectly blue skies and a crisp cold in the air. We all loved it. The animals were a little stubborn. They had all found the sunny spots and were staying in them. Since they weren't moving much the boys didn't get a real good look. They did really enjoy the train ride though. It was very cute. We are planning to take them to Jacksonville Zoo soon so they can get a better look at all the animals.
